ERN-EuroBloodNet at the EHA2022 Hybrid Congress 2022
View the sessions available at the EHA2022 Congress platform to learn about the latest in the field of hematology until August 15, 2022!
The EHA Congress, the biggest event on hematology in Europe, has been held last June, from 9th to 17th.
During the 2022 edition 35 projects, carried out in the ERN-EuroBloodNet and projects of the ERN-EuroBloodNet Experts, have been presented to the audience. All of the recorded sessions and posters will be available on the EHA2022 Congress Platform until 15th August.
Some of the projects presented during the event were:
- ERN-EuroBloodNet European Registry of Patients Affected by Red Blood Cell Disorders and Covid-19: An update of the data gathered in the ERN-EuroBloodNet Collaborative Platform on Red Blood Cell and COVID-19 patients presented by Pablo Velasco (Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron).
- Studies developed in Genomed4all for SCD and covered by ERN-EuroBloodNet:
- 2,3-Diphosphoclycerate Detection Via Direct Infusion High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Correlates with Quantitative Detection in Blood of Patients with Sickle Cell Disease, a poster presented by Sigrid van der Veen (University Medical Center Utrecht).
- Integrative Diagnosis of Sickle Cell Disease Patients for Personalized Medicine, a poster presented by Amira Idrizovic (Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron).
- 2,3-Diphosphoclycerate Detection Via Direct Infusion High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Correlates with Quantitative Detection in Blood of Patients with Sickle Cell Disease, a poster presented by Sigrid van der Veen (University Medical Center Utrecht).
- EHA-ERN EuroBloodNet Methemoglobinemia Guideline Session chaired by Achille Iolascon (AOU Federico II - Naples).
Moreover, the ERN-EuroBloodNet team's presence at the Collaboration Plaza gave the opportunity to promote the ERN-EuroBloodNet actions among the haematological community. Thank you so much to the ERN-EuroBloodNet partners that came to visit us!
